Catamarans are inherently stable, and with sealed hulls Hobie cats are virtually unsinkable. The asymmetrical hull shape eliminates the need for dagger boards, making the boats easy to beach. Many customers rent the boats by the hour to enjoy the excellent sailing conditions in the Gulf of Thailand. However some customers take the boats for extended periods, for exploring the many deserted beaches and islands in the area. For longer rental periods, the boats can be delivered directly to your beach resort.

The large fully battened and boomless mainsail provides plenty of power in a light breeze, making the boats exciting for experienced sailors, yet simple and safe for a novice to sail. The boats can easily be sailed by one person, but are US Coast Guard approved to carry up to 4 adults.
